Product Delivery

To ensure that you receive your order on time, we use a reliable, next-day business courier (samples are sent via standard mail). However, please remember that once your order leaves our premises, we have no control over the delivery process. We recommend that when you are choosing your preferred delivery date, you pick one which is a day earlier than needed. The shelf-life of our products are very good, however, you can find more information on this on the product page.

We will require you to state your preferred delivery date when placing your order, and we will book the delivery accordingly. Updates will be sent to your specified email address or mobile number. If you have any queries or concerns regarding your delivery, please get in touch with us via our Contact page or telephone.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address specified is the correct one.  We will follow your instructions for delivery. Any additional costs for redirection are the responsibility of the client and in the event of non-delivery, we will reclaim the costs from you.

Please be aware that someone will need to be onsite to accept your delivery.  Deliveries will normally be made between 8am and 6pm, Monday-Friday, unless a specific express order has been arranged. If no one is available to receive the delivery, you will be required to make new arrangements directly with the courier. We cannot take responsibility for any orders not delivered due to your absence.

If circumstances change and no one will be available to accept your delivery, it is important that you contact us or the courier immediately to rearrange your delivery to a more acceptable time. If you are not available when the courier arrives, the order will be destroyed, this is for hygiene reasons. Ink Edibles Ltd* cannot offer refunds for missed orders.

We base our standard delivery cost on the following criteria:

  • Weight of order
  • Number of boxes
  • Locations
  • Date and time of preferred delivery

Our delivery quotes are usually based on your order arriving between 12.30 and 16.00, Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). If you do require an earlier or weekend delivery time, these are available at a surcharge. Bank Holiday deliveries are not available. If your order’s destination is remote, please allow an additional 24-hours for your delivery and be mindful that these may require additional delivery costs.

Our delivery times are a guideline; we use a courier who is reliable but, from time-to-time, there will be circumstances outside our, and their, control, i.e. traffic volume, access etc. We cannot accept liability for any late delivery caused outside of our normal business operations. The vast majority of orders arrive within the estimated delivery schedule.

Areas which we consider within our standard delivery are:

Most of the UK, Northern Ireland and some parts of the Republic of Ireland (please contact us for more information). We class the Scottish Highlands & Islands and some Scottish postcodes as remote. If your delivery address is in any of these areas, please contact us before placing your order for further guidance.

Please supply a telephone number for your delivery recipient so that they are contactable in case of problems with accessing your address. The number will not be used for any other purpose and we are unable to contact recipients for any other reason.

If your delivery hasn’t arrived by the estimated date, please contact us directly – in certain circumstances we can contact the courier to track the progress of your order, however, this is only possible 9am – 5pm on Monday – Friday. Public holidays are excluded. We will do everything in our power to ensure that your order arrives on time, but usually once your order leaves us, it is down to the courier to deliver it within the agreed timescales.
If you are sending your order to a large organisation or business address, please inform your post-room before the order is despatched – orders can be mis-directed once they are delivered to big premises.
